I See London, I See France, I Have Fancy Underpants

I went to London!! What?! It was sooo much fun. Bob, Brigid, Dustin and Jason all live there, so naturally i had to go visit. Sean was also in town, visiting from Ireland. Utter madness.

I took the train there, which only took 2.5 hours! I went through the chunnel--which, contrary to what i had previously imagined, is completely dark tunnel. I was hoping it'd be like going through an underwater aquarium...a train zooming through a tube of glass, giving the passengers a lil peek at underwater life. SO not the case, but still cool in practice.

I went to London about 3 years ago for a few days, and was curious to see if it looked different now that i'm a bit older. The craziest thing was that when we were walking around, especially by the river, i totally recognized buildings that i had seen only once! And not just like the globe, but random little shops, and i remember walking around with my friends and even random conversations that took place there. So it was fun to see it again. AND also that my friends who live there no their way around, so Sean and i just sort of floated around with them, taking in all the sights.

Jason momentarily aquired this top hat. The owner told him the sparkles didn't quite suit him, but... i think he works 'em just fine.
Sean's obession with brigid's teeth has NOT faded over the years. I believe it's gotten more intense.
Bob's parents were there! We reminisced about kindergarten and travels--it was so good to see them.

ahhhh ok, gotta go, it's time to watch the finale of paris hilton's my new bff. Maddie waited all weekend to watch it with me. such a good friend.
