cash registers and vydeos

so, when you buy food here, like up at a cash register, they have a little dish.  i didn't take any note of it for days, until i finally realized that everyone else put their money onto this little plate instead of handing it to the person.  embarrassing.  i had been wondering why everyone kind of smirked at me when i handed them money.  i have yet to put my money into that pay dish, because i've been too preoccupied trying to speak french to handle any other social responsibilities.  perhaps this a good thing, though....  Perhaps the people of France now know that americans aren't just loud and ignorant and fat...  sometimes they mumble inaudibly, are too flustered to know what's going on, and gently graze hands with cashiers while they're just trying to do their jobs.  isn't it romantic...

SO the main reason for this post..... is..... vydeos.  i couldn't figure out how to post them directly on the blog, so i gave up.  Now, bobcatbaguette has its very own youtube account.  here be da linx:::::::

Me and maddie on the second day (? it's all a blur...) by la tour eiffel, and walking around the premier arrondissement (it's in the center of the city, which sprawls out like a snail... or shall i say, escargot).

au revoir for now, i am off to do my french homework and plan a trip!
